Welcome to the Bubbles hardware identification repository, here you will find a collection of images and technical data for Bubbles PCBs. Each PCB will also have notes on compatibility with other variants and links to schematics, SLICE projects and technical articles where available.
If you have any relevant PCBs that I do not have here I would be grateful if you would be able to take good quality photographs of both sides of them or loan them to me so that I can add them here.
The Bubbles boardset is unique as it has additional CMOS RAM on the CPU board and a different pinout between the CPU and ROM boards, therefore these boards cannot be mixed with other games. The earlier games of Stargate, Robotron, Joust and Splat! will run on this board as they will ignore the extra CMOS RAM.
Note that Splat! uses Special Chip 2 on the ROM board.
