Williams Boards to JAMMA Conversion

Back in the mists of time in the late 90s I created a guide on how to convert a Williams boardset to JAMMA. This was hosted on the previous version of this site, however 25 years later the world has moved on and products such as JROK and MiSTer FPGA mostly satisfy the demand for this.

I am therefore reluctant to create a new guide on how to do this, however if demand is there I may do so. This will probably involve the creation of a PCB that you can buy to do all the heavy lifting just leaving some wiring for you to make yourself.

Note that this is a different beast to making a Williams test fixture for working on the boards rather than playing them. I recently made myself a new text fixture and will publish details of this in due coarse.

If you are genuinely interested in a Williams to JAMMA adaptor, please fill in the form on the Contact page.

A PDF of the original guide can be downloaded from the Williams Documents Page.
