Welcome to the Sinistar hardware identification repository, here you will find a collection of images and technical data for Sinistar PCBs. Each PCB will also have notes on compatibility with other variants and links to schematics, SLICE projects and technical articles where available.

Upright Boardset

The upright sinistar boardset features 5-boards plus the joystick and Power Supply boards, the cockpit boardset features an additional D8224 Sound Board (without speech).

This CPU board can be used in Stargate, Robotron, Joust, Sinistar and Splat! It cannot be used in Defender or Bubbles.

The Williams optical 49-way joystick board was used in Sinistar (red ball top), Blaster (pistol grip) and Arch Rivals (orange ball top).
